on 22/March/2010 ,I went to the zoo ,Behind the scenes, i hoped to learn how the animals are being treated when they are in need of medical treatment
Upon reaching the zoo , we went into the auditorium and our tour guide told us about some of the most endangered animals not only on earth but in Singapore too . Well they have these confiscated samples of what hunters do to the poor animals , they turned them into illegal thins like medicine , carpet or statues . What kind of people would do such things .
Then after all that , we went to the post-mortem , there they cut out the animal to find out how or what caused the animal to die so that it wont spread . My kind of person, i can't see dead animals or how they got killed but when i got to take a peek in the chiller where they keep some of the bodies . So I took the challenge of just looking in it , i want to be a vet so i have to overcome it right?
I learnt that it takes a good heart and courage to do this kind of work .and i will do recommend this activity to friends of mine . after all of the things we done, i learnt that its hard to be a vet seeing animals get hurt or die suddenly but a vet is there to aid the animal in need , so what mattered most? To me what mattered most is how we try to help these animals in need or try not to make them extinct from the face of the earth because we , humans & animals , share this large round ball of green and blue,Earth, humans must not take control of all earth's surface as before humans stepped on earth animals we created first not us humans . So we must respect Mother Earth and her creations .
To me failures means a wrong turn but you can still go back to the right track if you want it & Success meas to be great full that you did well to deserve what you get . The life lesson learnt during this trip is to help one another no matter how different we may be or look . This experience will effect the way i think about things that I would do in the near future .
I would and have become a better person when i think about all the people & animals in need , i will be there willingly to lend them a helping hand .

I got to know about the activity outside the Library , so i decided to participated. My love for animals & how i really want to be a vet when i grow up , made me participate as i think it would be a good experience. Well, we did a tour around the Zoo's hospital .
